Finishing last is lonely. The climb was not lonely, but the clouds were very threatening! The air was pretty thin up there. That's why the book is called "Under the Banner of Heaven" this place was beautiful!

Those are sweet pics! I was up there last weekend, but not racing. Luckily the weather held out for XC. DS on Saturday wasn't so lucky!
Yup, Brian Head is freaking unreal! I can't wait to get back there next year. Last isn't so bad. If you put all of your competitors in a circle your right next to first!
